A group of Strattanville residents is hoping to re-establish the town’s annual “homecoming” celebration in 2019.
The event which has included borough-wide yard sales, games, lawn mower races, a car cruise and show, a parade, fireworks and a dance just to name a few was not held in 2018 due to a lack of volunteers.
An open meeting for anyone interested in helping revive the homecoming weekend is asked to attend an organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Strattanville Fire Hall.
