SNL comedians to perform at CampusFest

Saturday Night Live comedians Jay Pharoah and Aidy Bryant, at 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, in Marwick-Boyd auditorium.

Pharoah is entering his sixth season on Saturday Night Live. He is well known for his impressions of President Obama, Jay Z, Denzel Washington, Kanye West and many others. He developed his comedy skills at a young age, training in local comedy clubs. He has acted in movies such as “Ride Along,” “Get a Job” and “Top Five.”

Bryant joined SNL in 2012. She was nominated for an Emmy for the SNL digital short, “(Do it on My) Twin Bed,” and she won Entertainment Weekly’s EWwy Award for best supporting actress in a comedy. Other television credits include a recurring role on HBO’s”Girls,”and guest parts onComedy Central’s”Broad City”and IFC’s”Comedy Bang! Bang!”
