A couple of thunderstorms hit the region late Monday afternoon and into the early evening, leading to some road closures and downed trees and power lines.
Severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings were issued, and the heavy rain and high winds caused numerous trees to fall, some taking power lines with them.
Venango County 911 dispatchers said roads that were closed included Route 62 at Horsecreek Road, Deep Hollow Road and McPhearson Road.
911 dispatchers in Clarion County reported that “multiple trees” were down, but no roads were closed.
