Seminar on medical marijuana in workplace set in Clarion

A free seminar that will address medical marijuana in the workplace is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Clarion University’s Gemmell Student Complex.

Attendees are being asked to register.

Topics to be addressed include how marijuana affects a user and recognizing signs of impairment; understanding the state’s Medical Marijuana Act; rights of both employees and employers; and a panel discussion on clinical, legal and employment aspects of the law as it applies to the workforce.
