Clarion University will hold a reception for its new president, Dale-Elizabeth Pehrsson, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday in Carlson Library on the main campus.
The reception is open to the community.
Hosts of the event include Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education Board of Governors, interim Chancellor Karen M. Whitney, Clarion University Council of Trustees and interim President Peter C. Fackler.
Pehrsson, Clarion’s 17th president, will begin her duties July 1.
