Clarion state police continue to investigate the weekend crash in Richland Township, Clarion County, that killed a man and severely injured a woman who were struck by a vehicle while standing in a yard.
The crash happened at about 11:25 p.m. Saturday on Route 338 near the intersection with Ritts Farm Road.
State police said the vehicle was traveling south on Route 338 when it left the roadway and hit the two people.
Jerrold DeHart, 39, of Turkey City, was killed. The injured woman hasn’t been identified by police.
Police said they suspect the driver, who also hasn’t been identified by police, was driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
