Planning continues for Redbank reunion

From staff reports

The Redbank Valley High School Reunion Steering Committee is continuing to work on providing a variety of activities, entertainment and food for “The Event of the Year: The Reunion of a Lifetime” on Saturday, July 8, at Redbank Valley Municipal Park.

The event is for all pre-2000 students, employees, teachers and administrators. Guests can go to the page, sign on, then send in a check, money order or cash to Dave Sturgeon.

Organizers are still looking for individuals willing to serve on both the fundraising and publicity committees. To date, representatives from 14 graduating classes are working on different aspects of the steering committee.

Anyone who knows someone active in planning their class reunion should direct them to the Facebook page or have them come to the next Steering Committee meeting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Joe’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in New Bethlehem.

They have created several handouts and mailing ideas for them to help pass on reunion information to each group.

Kathy Milliron, chair of the committee, is seeking class and group representatives.

There will be an information table and reunion representatives at the craft fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the skating rink in the Municipal Park to answer questions, hand out materials and take registrations and donations.

Full registration and cost information can be found on the event’s Facebook page at RVHS reunion.

Anyone who represents a service or social organization and would like a Steering Committee member to speak to their group should send a message to bogo@windstream.net.
