Officials: Tornado touched down in Warren Co.

WARREN, Pa. (AP) — The National Weather service says a tornado touched down in northwestern Pennsylvania during a severe storm over the weekend.

Meteorologists say the tornado touched down on Sunday in Warren County near North Warren. Officials say it had top speeds of 90 mph and was about 200 yards in diameter.

A team from the National Weather Service made the determination after surveying damage on Monday.

The severe storm hit parts of Erie, Crawford and Warren counties Sunday evening.

No injuries were reported, but officials say several trees were downed and hundreds of customers were left without power for a time.
