Officials investigating Emlenton man’s death

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Officials are investigating what caused the death of a 21-year-old University of Pittsburgh student who was found dead at an off-campus residence.

The Butler Eagle reports Chase Longo was found dead Sunday.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office says they don’t know what caused the Emlenton man’s death and are awaiting lab results.

A university spokesman says Longo was a junior engineering student.

The university has provided grief counseling.

He was a 2013 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg.
