The Oil City police department has cleared a nearly 3-year-old armed robbery investigation with the arrest of 28-year-old Adrian Kyle Joe Dignard.
The incident took place on June 1, 2012, when two individuals robbed Thorne’s Market on Grandview Road at gunpoint and were able to get away with more than $6,000.
Dignard admitted that he and his brother Justin were the ones who robbed the store during an interview with Oil City police officers in early January of this year.
Dignard is currently in custody in the Venango County jail on unrelated charges.
