North Clarion students selected to attend institute

Three North Clarion High School students, Lia Evans, Cierah Manross and Andrew Gatesman were accepted into the Appalachian Regional Commission/Oak Ridge National Laboratory 2018 High School Math-Science-Technology Institute. They will spend two weeks in July working with world-class scientists at ORNL’s facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. They will be conducting guided research projects in science, math, and computer science technology. Activities will include lab time and visits to nearby industries, universities, and museums to experience real-world applications of science, math, and technology. (Submitted photo
