Nearly 400 Clarion University graduates began new chapters in their lives at winter commencement Saturday, Dec. 17.

Amber Klein served as student commencement speaker at the ceremony.

“Clarion challenges us and pushes us to our limits,” Klein said in her address. “Clarion University and its faculty have successfully provided us with what it takes to succeed after today. For the last four or more years, we have learned how to become better writers, listeners and speakers, and how to excel in our chosen fields. In the end we have learned how to become better people.”

Klein will be advancing to graduate school after completing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an associate degree in criminal justice with a minor in professional writing and rhetoric.
