Murder mystery planned in Knox

The theater is coming to the town of Knox as Edenburg Presbyterian Church presents “Murder, Mayhem and Marshmallow Salad” over two weekends this month.  The production is scheduled at 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Jan. 13-14 and Jan. 20-21.  The shows will take place at the church, 405 Main St., Knox.  The dinner theater production includes a three-course meal for $15 per person.  The cost for children ages 10 years old and under is $8.  There is a limited supply of tickets.  They may be ordered by calling (814) 797-5614.

Bob Gheres is the play director for this production where attendees can help solve the mystery of the untimely and unexpected murder of one of the cast’s dearly beloved.

Producers said the comedic mystery will have the audience laughing out of their seats as they try to determine who the murderer is.

Attendees will try to determine if the murderer is the pastor who stutters and can’t handle public speaking or his lovely wife who is destined for the bright lights of Broadway; the culprit could be the Rev. Peter Piper Porcupine or his wife Sister Polly who are trying to weasel their way into a new church position, or it could be the disenfranchised pianist, the thieving church trustee, the chief
matron of the church, or the recent visitor.
