Motorcyclist injured

Tpr. Katherine Pettis reports one person was injured in a 3:45 p.m. April 25 four-vehicle hit and run crash along Paint Boulevard at Amsler Avenue in Paint Township.

An unknown driver was operating a southbound Chevrolet Cavalier along Paint Boulevard. Christine D. Culbertson, 29, Rimersburg, was operating a 2014 Ford Explorer behind the Cavalier.

James B. Keahey, 60, Harrodsburg, Kent., was operating a northbound 2017 BMW motorcycle behind a northbound 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier operated by Cody D. Slater, 18, Marienville.

Slater was turning left on Amsler Avenue and as Slater was doing so, the unknown driver of a Chevrolet Cavalier turned from the southbound lane onto Amsler Avenue.

The unknown Cavalier struck the motorcycle, continued onto Amsler Avenue, striking the other Cavalier operated by Slater. The driver of the unknown Cavalier drove away from the scene.

The motorcycle then struck the Ford Explorer.

The drivers and passengers in the vehicles were wearing seat belts. Keahey was wearing motorcycle safety equipment and suffered unspecified injuries.
