Military collectibles show set for June 3

The Jefferson County History Center will host the eighth annual Military Collectibles Show on Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. 3 p.m. at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Brookville.

This indoor event includes two buildings with both vendors and exhibitors displaying a wide range of interesting military collectibles and related items ranging from the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam, and Gulf Wars to the present. Collectibles available for show, sale and trade include weapons, uniforms, artifacts, accouterments, photographs, publications, and other items of historical interest to both the beginner and advanced military collector.

New this year will be a special programs area where attendees are invited to learn from a series of short lectors by experts on various interesting aspects of collecting. Check our website, jchconline.org for the schedule.

Bring your collection items for evaluation and value by the experts who are always willing to help and answer questions.

Our raffle prize this year is a Rock Island 1911 A-1 45. Tickets are only $5 each or 5 for $20. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the show or in advance at the History. See our website Events section for more detail. Drawing will be held at 3 p.m., day of the show, Saturday June 3.

The Jefferson County Fairgrounds are located on Route 28 approximately a half-mile north of Interstate 80 (Exit 81). Adult admission is $10 and children 17 and under are free.
