Meeting on environment planned

A town-hall meeting addressing concerns about the environment – “Protecting Our Pennsylvania Wilds” – will be held Thursday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Limestone fire hall.

Speaker Mark Dixon, of NoPetroPa, will detail the petrochemical industry’s plan to develop the region into a plastics manufacturing hub and the ramifications of doing so.

The event is sponsored by Indivisible We Rise, Protect Environment & Children Everywhere (PEACE) and the League of Women Voters of Clarion County.
