PINEY TOWNSHIP – A 34-year-old Strattanville man faces 35 sexually-related charges involving five alleged female victims ranging in age from 4 to 18 at various locations in Clarion County.

James Luther King is charged with two counts of rape, a first-degree felony; three counts of corruption of minors as a third-degree felony; one count of dissemination of sexually explicit materials to a minor, a third-degree felony; four counts of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age, three counts of indecent exposure, and three counts of indecent assault by forcible compulsion, all first-degree misdemeanors; 10 counts of indecent assault without the consent of others, five counts of indecent assault on a person less than 16 years of year, all second-degree misdemeanors; and two counts of invasion of privacy (viewing or photographing a person without their consent), a third-degree misdemeanor.
The alleged incidents occurred between Jan. 1, 2006, and Aug. 1, 2012.
According to court documents filed by state police Tpr. William Craddock, the first identified alleged victim was brought to the state police station in December of 2015 by her mother.
The girl allegedly told police incidents involving King started when she was around 4 years old in Piney Township. The girl said King forced her to watch pornography and exposed himself to her.
The girl also told police of incidents of inappropriate touching and other acts at locations in Strattanville, Knox and Fisher. The girl also alleged King offered her marijuana in exchange for sexual contact.
The girl also told investigators she saw King touch other girls and provided the names of those females.
A now 18-year-old woman told police she and her boyfriend stayed with King for about three to six months near Fisher. The young woman said King often “acted perverted and talked about sex a lot.”
The woman said King touched her inappropriately on several occasions.
A third girl, age 16, told police she spent several weeks at King’s home when she was 15. The girl said King touched her inappropriately several times.
A fourth woman, now 20 years old, told police she also stayed with King and his girlfriend on and off for several years at locations near Corsica and Sligo.
The woman told police King “made perverted comments to her” and asked her to be his secret lover. The woman said King touched her inappropriately several times and once tried to pull her shirt off. The woman said the incidents occurred when she was 17 years old.
A fifth woman, now 21 years old, told investigators she had stayed with King and his girlfriend for several years when she was between the ages of 10 and 15.
The woman told investigators King once ripped her pants off and raped her. She also told police King once offered her drugs in exchange for sex.
King was arrested Feb. 22. He was arraigned before District Judge Duane Quinn.
Quinn set King’s bail at $75,000.
