Are you concerned about cyber security, your privacy online, election security, and data protection laws? The League of Women Voters of Clarion County will provide an online Zoom meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16.
This meeting will cover an overview of data protection laws, election security, consumer protection, and cyber hygiene.
In addition to her counseling practice, Leitch advises businesses in various industries regarding detection, containment, investigation, notification, and regulatory follow-up arising from security incidents, including business email compromise, ransomware, network intrusions, and inadvertent disclosures.
She also provides guidance to companies regarding incident response planning, as well as security policies and procedures.
During that time, she traveled to her clients’ European offices, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional business teams to develop appropriate GDPR policies, procedures, and documentation.
Drawing on this experience, she provides practical advice to clients on the adaptation of their global data protection programs to comply with rapidly evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
