Lt. Gov. visits Clarion

Lt. Gov. Mike Stack stopped by Clarion during the Autumn Leaf Festival on Thursday to promote his Pathway to Pardons program. Stack serves on the state Board of Pardons and says those in the correctional system who made a mistake early in life and have rehabilitated themselves should have a second chance. “We shoot ourselves in the foot by not letting them get a job or be volunteers,” Stack said. Clarion businessman Bill Hearst and Clarion County commissioners Ed Heasley and Ted Tharan listen in the background. (By Rodney Sherman)
