Leeper native graduates from U.S. Army War College

Lt. Col. Jeffrey S. Heasley, U.S. Army National Guard, graduated from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle July 22 with a master’s degree in strategic studies.

Heasley is a 1987 graduate of North Clarion High School and a 1991 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is currently assigned to Headquarters 28th Infantry Division.

Heasley is the son of Robert and Esther Heasley of Leeper and resides in Fallston, Maryland, with his wife Kelly and sons, Nathan and Benjamin.

The U.S. Army War College’s two-year curriculum educates and develops senior military officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, as well as foreign military officers and senior civilian officials from a variety of federal agencies, to serve in strategic level command and staff positions worldwide.
