Knox resident and Grove City College student Dalton Jones took fourth place for his presentation at the American College of Sports Medicine Mid Atlantic Regional Conference in Harrisburg.
Jones’ presentation was titled “Inter-set Voluntary Hyperventilation-aided Recovery Does Not Improve Bench Press and Squat in Recreationally Trained Individuals.” His placement came in the “Academic Challenge.”
The regional meeting provides a venue for exercise science majors to expand their knowledge and understanding of the field, make presentations, receive professional experience and network. Fifteen students traveled to Harrisburg with faculty members.
