Knox Borough limits office access

Knox Borough Council conducted an emergency session Monday during which council approved limiting public access to borough offices, specifically the borough secretary’s and the police chief’s offices.

The action is aimed at limiting any potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus.

Water and sewerage service bills can be paid by mail or dropped off in the lock-box at the borough building.

Knox Borough Police Chief Jason Bowen will still respond to emergencies. Borough residents in need of police assistance should call 911 first.

The limited access policy will remain in effect until the coronavirus emergency ends.
