Clarion state police reported that the eastbound lane of Interstate 80 between Knox and Strattanville was reopened at 5:30 p.m. Thursday after being closed due to an accident. According to Clarion County 911, the accident involving two tractor-trailers occurred at mile marker 65 in the eastbound lane around 2:15 p.m. State police at Clarion were assisted by Clarion Fire Department and Clarion Hospital Ambulance. At 6:45 p.m. traffic was being rerouted from traffic control points back to the interstate, police said. (Photos submitted by Chris Bryant)
