The Clarion Area kindergarten has been learning about what it means to be a good citizen. The students have learned the meaning of citizenship and have followed through with modeling citizenship in their daily lives. As part of a culminating project with Clarion University Block Students, the kindergarten class chose to show their citizenship by taking up a collection of items that were needed by SAFE. As they learned, part of being a good citizen is reaching out and helping others. Kindergarten was able to collect over 150 items to be donated directly to SAFE in Clarion. (Submitted photo)
