The very popular and growing Foxburg Art, Wine and Food Festival celebrates its 14th year from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, in the heart of this charming town along the scenic Allegheny River in Clarion County; the 2017 Pennsylvania River of the Year.

Get a head start on the festivities Saturday, Oct. 7, with the clam bake at Foxburg’s Allegheny Grille. Reservations are required to attend the clam bake, so call (724) 659-5701.

The festival will once again feature a wide variety of artisans and crafters offering handcrafted items for sale. Each year new vendors are attracted to the event. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be available during the event at each business and the Chinese auction, with an excellent selection of prizes, will be held at the Foxburg Pizza Shop.

While exploring all the festival offers, be sure to visit The Red Brick Gallery, Foxburg’s artist cooperative, where shoppers can walk away with the perfect piece or get an early start on Christmas shopping.

Also try the Oktoberfest pizza at Foxburg Pizza or sample a draft of Oktoberfest beer and German cuisine at the Allegheny Grille.

Of course, there will be plenty of food vendors lining Main Street to satisfy festival attendees’ hunger and treat the sweet tooth with handcrafted Belgian chocolates or gourmet coffee at Divani Chocolatier and Barista.

Drop into the very popular Foxburg Wine Cellars offering over 30 varieties of wine along with accessories and gift items.

Music will be provided by the Richard Eustice Band from 2 to 4 p.m. and Mitchell Bell will entertain on guitar and vocals from 4 to 6 p.m.

Children’s face painting will be provided by Emlenton’s Chicken Coop Studio 306 and the 4H will offer kids a “make and take.” And every child loves a trip through the Red Caboose train car.

Plan now for a Foxburg weekend. This is a free event and free shuttle service is provided at the designated parking areas at Allegheny-Clarion Valley Elementary School and Allegheny-Clarion Valley Medical Center, both located on State Route 58.

For visitor’s safety, it is requested that all motorized vehicles, including motorcycles, park at these designated areas. Handicapped parking will be provided close to the event.
