Forest County has joined the state today for the national commemoration of Vietnam War Veterans Day.
The conflict, which defined an entire generation, involved numerous brave men and women, including 325,208 Pennsylvanians who served, according to the state.
A total of 3,147 Pennsylvanians were killed in action in Vietnam and 89 are still unaccounted for.
The recognition of Vietnam War Veterans Day was signed into law in 2017 and occurs on March 29 every year.
