Forest Area School District students Brooke Black, Danni Habjanetz, and Zoe Thompson were selected to perform in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 3 Chorus Festival Jan. 11 through Jan. 13, at Marion Center High School. These young ladies were part of a choir of over 180 musicians from 30 school districts representing Armstrong, Clarion, Forest, Jefferson, Indiana, and Venango Counties. The chorus was under the direction of Dr. Christopher Kiver, director of choral activities at Penn State University. The festival was hosted by Chellise Stolarz, choral director at Marion Center High School. A public concert was presented Jan. 13, in the Keith R. Bloom auditorium located at Marion Center High School.
