Penn State Extension will offer a Cooking for Crowds food safety workshop for non-profit organizations from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at the Penn State Extension Office at 8 Grant St., Clarion.
The cost is $50 per organization and includes up to five registrants. There is a $5 charge for each additional registrant in an organization or $25 per single registrant.

The cost includes the Cooking for Crowds publication, thermometer and food safety posters.
Attendees at the workshop will learn what causes food-borne illness, how to prevent food-borne illness and how to start practicing good food safety strategies for their next food fund-raiser.
