Flat Stanley went south and because of the weather, he took his time coming back. West Forest area student, Quinton Mellon, (left) sent Stanley to visit his uncle who is an airplane pilot. Stanley liked the warmer climate and decided to travel to the southern states for as long as Uncle Kevin would keep him. While visiting Uncle Kevin, he flew to California, Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana. West Forest area student, Brayden Dunkel, sent his Stanley to Hubert, North Carolina to see his cousin. While he was there, he went to the aquarium and saw lots of cool ocean animals. Since it was cold and snowy here, he decided to stay. (Submitted photo)
