Farmers-Crafters Day on tap today at ALF

Today is one of the Autumn Leaf Festival’s biggest days as thousands of people will visit Main Street for the annual Farmers and Crafters Day.

The event, sponsored by Kronospan U.S.A, will run from 2nd to 8th avenues on Main Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. more than 350 craft vendors will be displaying and selling items large and small.

Due to the anticipated large crowd, an ATA shuttle bus service will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $1.25 per trip.

Clarion University students and riders under 6 and over 65 ride free. Exact change is required.

Another event scheduled today is the Immaculate Conception PTO arts and crafts show that will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school’s Meisinger Center and front lawn. There will be a concession stand in the school cafeteria from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bingo to benefit the Clarion County Community Bank Foodstock will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarion Moose Lodge.

The Clarion University homecoming headquarters will be at the Park Inn by Radisson from 6 to 10 p.m.

Festival parking is available at the Immaculate Conception school parking lots all day today and from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday. Proceeds benefit the school’s PTO.
