Entry forms for the Marienville Area Library’s annual photography contest are available at the library. Entries, along with the $5 entry fee, will be accepted between Jan. 2-22 at the library during regular hours. First, second and third place ribbons will be given for each category by bracket. All first place winners will compete for $50 best in show prize.
There are two categories: Forest County nature and Forest County landmarks, events and people. There are three age brackets: Students, for youths 18 years old and under; adult unedited for ages 18 years and older and adult post-processed or edited for ages 18 years and older. The adult edited bracket is not eligible for the best in show prize. High dynamic range photos should be entered in bracket. This category can be edited in anyway.
Complete rules on printed on the entry form. Judging will be held Friday, Jan. 26, and photos will be displayed at the Marienville Winterfest through Monday, Feb. 12.
