East Forest students visit cancer society office

The East Forest Mini Relay Club members congregated around the American Cancer Society sign during their trip to the Erie office of the American Cancer Society where they saw the operational end of the business and learned the history behind the society. Students learned how the ACS helps people who are dealing with cancer before, during, and after treatments. As well as how laws are enacted to prevent such things as smoking in restaurants. They also learned how they can help now and in the future to live healthy and find ways to prevent cancer by making good decisions. (Submitted photo)
