An Earth Day celebration was held Saturday at the Clarion Free Library.

Dozens of participants enjoyed bubbles outside which lured them inside to explore other activities.

Inside they experienced freshwater fish printing, pH testing, nature collages, bird skull and trace-a-track templates, tree ring analysis, bird identification, rocks, minerals, fossils, and more.

One participant worked diligently at the track table, event organizers said.

When asked her reasons, she reported that her husband is a hunter.

She planned to quiz him at home.

Parents led their children through various conservation displays and science activities. Volunteers from across the county assisted children and enjoyed themselves as well, according to organizers.

Clarion Free Library and Indivisible We Rise West Central PA partnered to provide the family friendly celebration.
