Members of the Friends of Allegheny Wilderness trail crew completed work on a project at Coon Run in the Hickory Creek Wilderness in the Allegheny National Forest. Members of the crew included (from left) Dave Schultz, Nate Welker, Grace Tillotson, Tom Malecki, Luke Bobnar, Joe Torok, Alison Harper, Kirk Johnson and Joe Hardisky (not pictured). The project took place last weekend and included the clearing of the entire Hickory Creek Wilderness trail of dozens of woody debris blowdowns as well as the cutting back of live brush where it was encroaching on the trail.
