Clarion’s Tippin Gymnasium issued occupancy permit

The state Department of General Services advised Clarion University that it can formally occupy and begin moving into most spaces in the new Tippin Gymnasium and Natatorium, according to a university news release.

The state Department of Labor and Industry has issued an occupancy permit for all areas of the building except the weight room addition, which is in the final stages of completion, according to the release.
The state Department of Health conducted a preliminary inspection of the pool facility, and final approval is expected as soon as the formal Labor & Industry occupancy permit is in hand, the release said.

The university expects the facility to be fully operational and open to the public by late November.
