The Clarion Area Chamber of Business and Industry is gearing up for its “Ugly Christmas Sweater” parade and arrival of Santa at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.
Participants in the parade will travel west along Main Street to the courthouse parking lot. Following the parade, Santa will greet children at the gazebo in the county park.
Cookies and milk that have been donated by area businesses will be provided free of charge.
The chamber reported that almost 30 units have registered for the parade, the most in more than a decade.
The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1.
