Robert Daniel Martin, a 38-year-old Clarion man, allegedly exposed himself to a female victim on July 28 in Clarion Borough.

At 11:45 a.m., state police Tpr. Jacob Knight was traveling north on South Fifth Avenue when a woman waved him down.

The woman said around 11:30 a.m., she was walking on Wood Street and stopped because something was stuck to her shoe. While stopped, a man, later identified as Martin, allegedly yelled out the window and she went over to his truck.

The woman allegedly looked into the truck and saw Martin raise his pelvic area up out of the driver’s seat displaying his genitalia.

The woman backed away and was able to get the license plate number as Martin drove off.

Police ran information on the plate and obtained a photo of the driver. The woman allegedly identified the photo as the man who exposed himself to her.

During a police interview, Martin allegedly admitted to having an interaction with a female and he said he had a sex toy sitting on his lap which she must have mistaken for his penis.

On June 30, Knight was informed by other state police officers that a similar incident occurred June 9 near the intersection of Main Street and North Eighth Avenue.

The victim of the second incident said she was waiting to pull out of a parking lot when the perpetrator was driving past her.

She allegedly said when the vehicle went by, the driver, allegedly identified as Martin, lifting his pelvic area up out of the driver’s seat displaying his genitalia.

Martin was charged with two counts of indecent exposure, a second-degree felony and two counts of open lewdness, a third-degree misdemeanor.
