Clarion library plans events in July

From staff reports

The Clarion Free Library will begin in-person programming in July.

As part of its summer reading program, the library will offer storytimes for ages 2 to 7 and discovery times for children ages 8 to 11.

Storytimes will be held at 10 a.m. Fridays July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Discovery times will be held at 2 p.m. on the same dates.

Parents can choose which activity best suits their children. Storytime features picture book stories, fingerplays, songs, and a simple craft.

Discovery time consists of stories, art projects, STEM activities, and guest speakers.
