Clarion legion offers scholarships

Spc. Ross A. McGinnis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2145 and Auxiliary of Clarion are offering scholarship opportunities to seniors residing in the Clarion County school districts.

Also, relatives of members of Post 2145 and Auxiliary 2145, regardless of where they live, are also eligible to apply.

To be eligible for the scholarship, an essay of 500 to 600 words on “Is Patriotism declining in our society?” must be submitted.

The deadline to apply is March 11.
