The Clarion Conservation District partnered with local organizations and businesses to hold Clarion Green Fest Saturday at the Clarion County Park.

The event included many hands-on activities for all ages including T-shirt tie dying, watershed education activities, and more.

Vendors set up tables promoting their products or organizations.

Guided tours of the acid mine drainage (AMD) passive treatment system at the park also took place at the event.

AMD is polluted water associated with coal mining. Fluids can be highly toxic to humans, animals, and plants.
