Clarion Conservation District to hunt for invasive species

The Clarion Conservation District will hold Pennsylvania iMapInvasives’ third annual Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt, beginning next week.

This two-part program will begin with a Zoom webinar training at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, to learn how to help stop the spread of invasive species in the community by using a mobile app called “iMapInvasives.”

The second part of the program will be an Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt community hike at State Game Lands No. 63 from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1. The hike will guide participants through how to record invasive species using the iMapInvasives app.

The scavenger hunt continues through August.

Those who wish to participate should register by Monday.
