From staff reports

The Clarion Summer Fest committee invites cyclists to participate in the third annual Rail 66 Time Trial.

The first rider will start the race at 8:30 a.m. June 8 (check-in opens at 7:15 a.m.). Cyclists must be at least age 16, and in good physical condition to register to compete in the 11.5-mile time-trial race.

The race will begin at Farmington Township Community Park in Leeper, travel north along the Rail 66 bike corridor and finish next to Northwest Hardwoods, about one mile south of Marienville.

Race sponsor Janney Montgomery Scott LLC (Clarion office) will provide refreshments at the finish line.

Online registration is available at rail66tt.com. T-shirts are guaranteed to racers who register by May 31.

All proceeds go toward trail maintenance.
