Clarion and Venango 4-H hosting virtual camps

From staff reports

Clarion and Venango 4-H programs are teaming up to offer virtual day camps to youth within the counties.

All day camps are open to any youth ages 8-14.

The camps include:

Crime Scene Investigators held June 23-25.

Here, campers will have the chance to put on the shoes of their inner detective to help complete investigations and forensic activities.

Pet Camp held June 30-July 2.

At this camp, participants will get to have a fun experience and learn more about the importance and caretaking of pets.

The Galaxy and the World Around Us held July 7-9.

At this camp, campers should be ready to explore our galaxy, the Milky Way, and our Earth as we know it. From outer space to our everyday encounters, this camp will be out of this world exciting!

Robotics Camps held July 13-16.

Campers will learn and explore the engineering of robots through fun and engaging activities to understand robotics and programming.

Hero Camp held July 21-23.

Campers will explore what it really means to be a hero while having fun and learning creatively. Friends will be made, crafts will be concocted, games will be played, and superpowers will be discovered.

Camps will be held virtually through Zoom on camp dates.

Most supplies needed will be provided and delivered to campers closer to camp. A list of items needed for camp, provided by the camper or family will be sent prior to that camp.

Participants can choose from two time slots, either 10 a.m. to noon on camp dates or 4 to 6 p.m. on camp dates.

If you select the morning time slot, you will attend the morning session for the entirety of that camp.

Same applies to evening sessions.

The cost to attend any and all camps is $25.
