The Clarion Area Chamber of Business and Industry invites the community to celebrate the 2017 holiday season with Customer Appreciation Day Monday, Nov. 20. That evening, join them for the annual Christmas parade at 6:30 p.m.
“Shop small” on American Express Small Business Saturday, Nov. 25, in downtown Clarion. Free parking will be available for Clarion shoppers on Nov. 20, 24, and Nov. 27 through Dec. 26. And don’t forget to drop off the children’s letters to Santa in the big mailbox located at Clarion Area Chamber office located at 650 Main Street in Clarion.
Customer Appreciation Day
Start off the holiday shopping season with Customer Appreciation Day Monday, Nov. 20. Businesses in downtown Clarion will offer special sales and promotions for their customers throughout the day.
Many of these sales will be “one-day-only,” so don’t miss this opportunity to score great deals at favorite local businesses.

Christmas Parade
Celebrate the holidays at the annual Christmas parade. Line up for the parade begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Northwest Savings Bank parking lot with the parade stepping off at 6:30 p.m. The parade travels down Main Street, ending at Fifth Avenue.
All parade entries are welcome. The category entries include marching bands, musical and instrumental groups, color guard, novelty and specialty groups, drill teams, non-profit service organization or groups, equestrian and animal groups, Boy and Girl Scout troops, floats, VIP and dignitaries, celebrities and gymnastic groups.

Beginning at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, stop by their office to pick up free stockings filled with goodies for the first 100 local children, compliments of the Clarion Area Chamber of Business and Industry and the Clarion Area Business Community.
Then before and after the parade, stop by several other businesses to pick up even more goodies they will have available. The list of participating locations will be included with the stockings.
From 7 to 8:30 p.m., after the parade, stop by the Clarion Area Chamber office for a chance for a photo with Santa Claus.
American Express Small Business Saturday
Saturday, Nov. 25, promises to be a day filled with excitement as the Clarion community celebrates the American Express Small Business Saturday with great sales and two chances to win prizes.
“Shop small” this holiday season by supporting local businesses and merchants on Small Business Saturday. Customers will find great deals and special promotions at various Clarion area businesses.
Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. stop by the Clarion Area Chamber office for a special giveaway. Play Plinko for a chance to win coupons to save money while shopping at favorite local stores.
