CBN to air Knox teen’s story today

From staff reports

Christian Broadcasting Network’s “The 700 Club” will air an episode today featuring the story of 13-year-old Seth Apel, of Knox.

Film crews visited the teenager’s home earlier this month to interview family members and to re-enact the events of Nov. 7, 2015, when Apel had to be flown to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC for emergency surgery after his right arm was severed in a woodcutting accident.

Dr. Lorelei Grunwaldt performed a six-hour operation to reattach Apel’s arm.

The seven-minute video was released early on the show’s various online platforms.
