A car show and family picnic will be held to benefit the Heavenly Gaits Therapeutic Riding Center. The car show will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the family picnic will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 24, at Wolfs Camping Resort, 308 Timberwolf Run in Wentlings Corners.
Meals served will contain pulled pork sandwiches, picnic salads, and strawberry shortcakes.
Other activities include raffles and Chinese and silent auctions. Additionally, shirts will be available for purchase.
Dash plaques will be given to every participating car. Trophies for the car show entry winners will be awarded at 3 p.m.
Heavenly Gaits Therapeutic Riding Center offers riding opportunities for special needs children. They are located at 2059 Ninevah Road in Knox.
