Camp Cadet program planned this year in Clarion

Troop C of the Pennsylvania State Police will hold its annual Camp Cadet program from July 23-28 at Clarion University.

The camp is for boys and girls ages 12 to 14 from Clarion, Forest, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean and northern Indiana counties. The campers will stay at Clarion University the entire week.

Activities presented at Camp Cadet include a full range of demonstrations and speakers from local fire departments, specialty units from the state police, the state Game Commission and Fish and Boat Commission, the FBI, the Secret Service, a county coroner and the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Campers will also enjoy a canoe trip on the Clarion River in Cook Forest.
