The new bridge carrying State Route 58 over the Clarion River near Callensburg is scheduled to open today (May 10). Motorists can expect flagger-controlled restrictions over the next few weeks while the project is completed. This $5.1 million bridge replacement project is being constructed by Francis J. Palo, Inc., and is expected to be completed by early June. In addition to replacing the bridge, Palo cut back the steep and rocky hillside on the Callensburg end of the bridge. (Submitted photo)
