Brookville man dies in Clarion County accident

Marienville state police said a motorcyclist died in an accident in Farmington Township, Clarion County, on Sunday afternoon.

According to police, John Ross, 35, of Brookville, was traveling south on Route 66 at about 3:30 p.m. when his 2005 Kawasaki Ninja struck a northbound 2014 Ford F250 driven by Jordan Sleppy, 22, of Tylersburg, while Sleppy was navigating a left turn onto Tylersburg Road.

Police said Ross was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation of the accident is continuing, police said.

Also responding to the scene were Farmington Township Fire Department, Knox Area Ambulance and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
