Boy Scout camp celebrates 50 years

The Boy Scout camp of Custaloga Town Scout Reservation will celebrate 50 years of service to the youth of French Creek Council at 3 p.m. on Saturday June 16 at the Custaloga Town Scout Reservation located at 7 Boy Scout Lane, Carlton.

This event is for the entire family.

Parking opens at 2 p.m. near the Heydrick House. Festivities begin at 3 p.m. with the bridge dedication and parade of units.

Celebrate all things CTSR with a free day of open program areas including: sci-tech, handi-craft, archery, shooting range, fishing, scout-craft, and nature.

The anniversary celebration also includes; camp tours, bridge dedication, parade of units, dinner, snack bar, live music, Class of 2017 Eagle recognition, wood badge beading ceremony and fireworks.
